A real digital crisis isn't a bad tweet. It's a cascade: the original story, the aggregator sites that pick it up within hours, the secondary coverage that cements it in Google's index, and the AI-generated summaries that start quoting all of the above within days. Getting ahead of that cascade is the entire job.

What the First 48 Hours Look Like

  • Hour 1–4: Full situational assessment — the original source, current SERP impact, social amplification trajectory, legal exposure
  • Hour 4–12: Strategy session with you (and your counsel/PR if applicable). Clear decisions on what we correct, where we push back, and where we stay silent.
  • Hour 12–24: Content deployment — owned assets built and pushed live, press placements secured, corrections drafted and filed.
  • Hour 24–48: SERP intervention and monitoring. Rapid rank acceleration of corrective content. 24/7 watch on every surface where the story could mutate.

What I Actually Do Differently

Most crisis firms are built for press handling — they write statements, manage calls, and coordinate with journalists. Valuable, but insufficient. A modern reputation crisis lives on Google, in AI chat windows, and in the archive.org snapshots journalists pull up three years from now. I handle the digital surface area that PR firms typically don’t touch, and I integrate cleanly with your existing counsel and comms team.

  • Direct outreach to publishers for correction, update, or delisting where factually warranted
  • Coordinated search-result suppression using authoritative owned and earned assets — built on the same long-term search governance foundation
  • Google content removal requests where legally supported (doxxing, explicit content, privacy violations) — often paired with a digital privacy sweep
  • AI-surface correction — getting inaccurate LLM summaries updated where possible
  • Social platform escalations for coordinated inauthentic behavior or policy violations

Confidentiality

Every crisis engagement starts with an NDA. Nothing about our work is ever published, promoted, or referenced externally without your written consent. If a public case study or press note ever makes sense, it's on your timeline, not mine.
